During the summer I tend to change my makeup habits as do many of the women in my life!  I might use less foundation and more bronzing powder or switch to a powder foundation altogether.  I also love makeup sticks that can be used as both lipstick and blush all in one convenient product. Below I am sharing some of my favorite ways to still look polished but lighten up the makeup products and still look fresh for the workday and Momday.

Isdinceutics Mineral Brush Powder– Facial Pollution and Blue Light Protection for $55.00 and will last you all season long! This SPF product is incredibly convenient and comes in a stick so you can easily control how much product you are using and get your SPF on easier than ever!  It comes with a soft brush and is even great on sensitive skins! So many of us skip this very important step but when it’s this easy you will definitely remember!

Josie Maran Color Stick– $22.00- Perfect color in an easy to use stick – Josie Maran is one of my favorite clean beauty brands and I carry this stick with me everywhere I go!  I even have an extra one in my desk at work.    Perfect for lips and cheeks – comes in so many beautiful colors  –  it will be tough to choose just one!

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess– A cult favorite bronzer that sells out by the end of summer every year! $45.00 for a compact just choose your shadeThis powder looks like you spent time in the Caribbean when all you had to do was swipe a brush across the powder and apply it to your cheeks!  You will love how natural it looks and everyone will ask you where you got that sun-kissed glow!

Last but not least you need a good mascara that is waterproof and sweatproof! L’Oreal Voluminous Waterproof Mascara– Found at Target for around $7.00 – You have read about this fantastic product in other blogs on SoCalMoments including “A Quick Makeup Routine in 5 Simple Steps” – yes it is that good and it also comes in colors like Cobalt blue!

With these products in your makeup bag this summer you are sure to show up fresh-faced and sun-kissed!
