Spooky Season is over and the holidays are upon us! I know a lot of people refuse to give Christmas decor and festivities the time of day until Thanksgiving is over, but I’m more on the “why wait?” side of things. Now that November is here, there are so many exciting and family-friendly things to do in Southern California, including ice skating!

ICE at Santa Monica is having its grand opening celebration this Thursday, November 7th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. To christen this holiday season pastime, there will be free ice skating, food samples from local spots, live music, and ice-skating performances. It’s the perfect family outing to twirl your way into the holidays!

If you can’t make it to the grand opening, the 8,000 square foot rink will be open until January 20. Skate rentals are $15.00 and there are $5.00 lockers available for rent. Food and drink refreshments are also available to purchase, including my kids’ favorite: HOT CHOCOLATE! Make your own family traditions with this awesome holiday experience.
