How to get 25-cent Thrifty ice cream cones on Friday, Sept. 13 at all three Mama’s locations in Orange County

Mama’s restaurants are offering the deal to celebrate the end of summer and start of the back-to-school season.

Summer’s just about over but you can still treat yourself to ice cream, especially when it’s only 25 cents.

All three Mama’s restaurants in Orange County will be scooping up cones for a quarter on Friday, Sept. 13. It’s to mark the end of summer and the back-to-school season with a celebration called “Mama Luvs Her Kids.”

The cones will be filled with your choice of a single scoop of Thrifty ice cream. And they’ll be available from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. at these three locations: Mama’s on 39 at 21022 Beach Blvd. in Huntington Beach; Mama’s Comfort Food & Cocktails at 11122 Los Alamitos Blvd., Los Alamitos and the newest Mama’s Comfort Food & Cocktails at 2601 West Coast Highway in Newport Beach.
