My kids personally love participating. We like to do some research the night before so that we are being conscious of the different materials and how it affects our ocean and beaches when not properly disposed of.
There isn’t much to getting started. Just wear closed-toed shoes and bring your refillable water bottles! Anyone 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. The Ocean Institute will provide trash pickers and bags.
