I know St. Patty’s day isn’t typically a kid holiday but of course, school loves to make everyone wear green and do shamrock arts and crafts. Now that homeschooling is a thing for us, I figured I’d hop on the St. Patty’s day train and find some sweet treats for the kids and I to make while celebrating at home this year. Follow below for our favorite tasty treats…
1. St. Patrick Day Cupcakes
These are a classic executed by Mama Cheaps and they make for the perfect treat for the whole family! Some of us couldn’t keep our hands off! Click HERE for the recipe.
2. Green Pancakes
When I made these the kids freaked! I guess it’s pretty easy to add some food coloring to pancake mix, but the added details that Tasty Oven | Family-Friendly Healthy Recipes made added fun to the meal! Click HERE for the full recipe and instructions!
3. Lucky Charm Rice Krispie Treats
Okay, not going to lie but I almost had to stop myself from eating all of these! Everyones weakness just got worse and I’m not talking about the kid’s sweet tooth! Check out Michelle {CraftyMorning.com} and her St. Patty’s day treat! Click HERE for full instructions.
4. Shamrock Pretzel Bites
Another addictive snack I made for the kids were these amazing pretzel bites! These were perfect to pop in a bowl for the kids to enjoy during our movie. Cheryl {thatswhatchesaid.net} knocked it out of the park with these green St. Patty’s day pretzels! Get the recipe HERE!
5. St. Patty’s Day Fruit Salad
If you’re looking for something on the healthier side this year, my kids loved this green fruit salad recipe from Morgan Manages MOmmyhood! We don’t need sugary treats to satisfy our sweet tooth when you have good ol’ healthy fruit! Click HERE for the full recipe!
